H.P.S. Mahavidyalaya
Harsh Pati Singh Mahavidyalaya (H.P.S. College), a constituent unit of L.N.M. University, Darbhanga falls in Dharmanand Nagar, in Madhepur district of Bihar. The first High School was built in the year 1911. In this economically lagging and educationally backward area, this Degree Level College was formed in the year 1972 by Late Prof. Dharmanand Singh. This benign endeavour of Mr. Singh made possible for the desirous boys and girls of this area to get higher education. This college was made constituent on 23rd Nov, 1980. This institution is already registered under 2(f) and 12(b) in U.G.C. and also ‘NAAC” accredited with all three streams- Science, Commerce and Arts up to Degree level.
There is a rich library- ‘Dharmanand Pustakalaya’ in the college equipped with all possible amenities. There is full accommodation in ‘Boys’ and ‘Girls’ Hostels in the campus. Read More . . .
